Requirements
To use the Superchat app in Make, you must have a paid Superchat account with Admin access. For subscription information, refer to the Superchat pricing page.
Connect Superchat and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between Superchat and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your API Key in Superchat
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain an API Key in your Superchat account.
To obtain the API key:
Log in to your Superchat account.
Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
In the Explore integrations section, click the Add button for a Make card.
Under the Make logo, click the Add button.
Copy the API Key value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the API Key connection field in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your Superchat API Key, you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a Superchat module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the API Key field, enter the API Key you copied from your Superchat account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Superchat app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
Set up a Superchat webhook
The Superchat app has instant modules—webhooks that watch for certain changes in Superchat and immediately start your scenario when those changes happen. To use these modules, you must set up the webhook in your Superchat account.
To set up the webhook:
Add a Superchat instant module to your scenario and click Create a webhook.
Optional: Enter a name for the webhook in the Webhook name field.
In the Connection field, select a connection for the webhook.
If you haven't created a Superchat connection yet, refer to the Connect Superchat and Make section above.
Click Save > Copy address to clipboard. You'll paste this address in your Superchat account.
Log in to your Superchat account.
Click Automations in the left sidebar.
Click the New automation button in the upper-right corner or select an existing automation from the list.
If it’s a new automation, choose one of the suggested options to create an automation.
Add a trigger, if needed.
Add a new step to your automation after a trigger, and select Make in Integrations.
Click Start a scenario to set up the Make webhook in Superchat.
In the URL field, paste the URL copied in step 4.
In the Body field, define the name of the variables. The values in the name column will define the field names in Make.
Add or map the values that should be sent to Make.
Your webhook is now set up. When the selected change occurs in Supechat, Make will immediately be notified and start your scenario.

You can look for Superchat templates in Make's template gallery, where you'll find thousands of pre-created scenarios.
