Clover POS
Clover POS is a point‑of‑sale system that lets businesses run sales, track inventory and handle payments. With the Clover POS app in Make, you can manage the orders, items, categories, customers, employees, payments and shifts in your Clover POS account.
Requirements
To use the Clover POS app in Make, you must have a paid Clover account. For subscription information, refer to the Clover POS pricing page.
Connect Clover POS and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between Clover POS and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your Merchant ID and Access Token in Clover POS
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain a Merchant ID and Access Token in your Clover POS account.
To obtain the credentials:
Log in to your Clover POS Developer dashboard.
In the left sidebar, click Account & Setup.
In the About your business section, click Merchants.
In the Merchant column, copy the ID under the name of your merchant and store it in a safe place.
Go back to Account & Setup.
In the Ecommerce section, click Ecommerce API tokens.
Click Create new token.
In the Integration Type field, select API.
Click Create Token.
Copy the Private token value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use these values in the Merchant ID and Access Token connection fields in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your Clover POS Merchant ID and Access Token you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a Clover POS module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the Region field, select the region of your Clover POS account.
In the Merchant ID field, enter the Merchant ID you copied from your Clover POS Developer dashboard account.
In the Access Token field, enter the Private token you copied from your Clover POS Developer dashboard account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Clover POS app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
