To use the Braze app in , you must have a paid Braze account. For subscription information, contact Braze directly. You can create a free 14-day trial account.
To get started, you must first create a connection between Braze and , allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Before you create the connection in , you should first obtain an API key in your Braze account.
To obtain the API key:
Log in to your Braze account.
In the left sidebar, click Settings > APIs and Identifiers.
Click Create API Key.
In the API key name field, enter the name for the API key.
Optional: In the IP Addresses field, enter IP addresses that you want to allow list.
Under Permissions, select all the permissions.
Click Create API Key.
In the Identifier column, copy the API key value shown and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the API key connection field in .
Once you have your Braze API key, you're ready to create the connection in .
To create the connection:
Log in to your account, add an {app name} module to your , and click Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the Braze Instance field, select the instance where your Braze account is located.
In the API key field, enter the API key you copied from your Braze account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Braze app in your . If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
