Zendesk Guide
Zendesk Guide is a knowledge base and self-service solution designed to help businesses create, organize, and share support content with customers and agents. With the Zendesk Guide app in Make, you can manage the articles and attachments in your Zendesk Guide account.
Requirements
To use the Zendesk Guide app in Make, you must have a Zendesk account.
Connect Zendesk Guide and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between Zendesk Guide and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your identifier and secret in Zendesk
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain identifier and secret credentials in your Zendesk account.
To obtain the credentials:
Log in to your Zendesk admin page.
In the left sidebar, click Settings icon > API.
Click Get started > OAuth Clients.
In the Redirect URLs field, enter the following URL:
https://www.make.com/oauth/cb/zendesk4/
Click Save.
Copy the Unique Identifier and Secret values and store them in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the Identifier and Secret connection field in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your Zendesk credentials, you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a Zendesk Guide module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
In the Connection type field, select Zendesk.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the Subdomain field, enter the subdomain of your Zendesk account.
For example, my-zendesk-subdomain.
In the Identifier and Secret fields, enter the values you copied from your Zendesk account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Zendesk Guide app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
