For subscription information, refer to the [Superchat pricing page](https://superchat.com/pricing). # Connect Superchat and Make To get started, you must first create a connection between Superchat and Make, allowing the two services to communicate. To create the connection, you need to: ::::WorkflowBlock :::WorkflowBlockItem [Obtain an API Key in your Superchat account](docId\:ZvBLup97K0W-hNuvaAXrw). ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem [Create the connection in Make](docId\:ZvBLup97K0W-hNuvaAXrw). ::: :::: ## Obtain your API Key in Superchat Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain an API Key in your Superchat account. To obtain the API key: ::::WorkflowBlock :::WorkflowBlockItem Log in to your Superchat account. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click **Settings** at the bottom of the left sidebar. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the left sidebar, click **Integrations**. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the** Explore integrations **section, click the **Add **button for a Make card**. ** ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Under the Make logo, click the **Add** button. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Copy the **API Key** value and store it in a safe place. ::: :::: You'll use this value in the API Key connection field in Make. ## Create the connection in Make Once you have your Superchat API Key, you're ready to create the connection in Make. To create the connection: :::::WorkflowBlock ::::WorkflowBlockItem Log in to your Make account, add a Superchat module to your scenario, and click **Create a connection**. :::hint{type="info"} If you add a module with an ​instant​ tag, click ​**Create a webhook**​​, then ​**Create a connection**​​. ::: :::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Optional: In the ​​**Connection name​​** field, enter a name for the connection. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the ​​**API Key** field, enter the API Key you copied from your Superchat account. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click **Save**. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access. ::: ::::: You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Superchat app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps [here](https://help.make.com/connect-an-application#tN2pJ). # Set up a Superchat webhook The Superchat app has `instant` modules—webhooks that watch for certain changes in Superchat and immediately start your scenario when those changes happen. To use these modules, you must set up the webhook in your Superchat account. To set up the webhook: ::::WorkflowBlock :::WorkflowBlockItem Add a Superchat `instant`​ module to your scenario and click **Create a webhook​**​. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Optional: Enter a name for the webhook in the ​**Webhook name​​** field. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the ​**Connection**​​ field, select a connection for the webhook. If you haven't created a Superchat connection yet, refer to the [Connect Superchat and Make](docId\:ZvBLup97K0W-hNuvaAXrw) section above. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click ​**Save**​ > ​**Copy address to clipboard**​​. You'll paste this address in your Superchat account. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Log in to your Superchat account. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click **Automations** in the left sidebar.  ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click the **New automation** button in the upper-right corner or select an existing automation from the list. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem If it’s a new automation, choose one of the suggested options to create an automation.  ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Add a trigger, if needed. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Add a new step to your automation after a trigger, and select Make in **Integrations**. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Click **Start a scenario** to set up the Make webhook in Superchat. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the **URL** field, paste the URL copied in step 4. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the **Body** field, define the name of the variables. The values in the name column will define the field names in Make. ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem Add or map the values that should be sent to Make. ::: :::: Your webhook is now set up.
