SmartSuite
SmartSuite is a collaborative work management platform that helps teams organize projects, manage customers, and streamline processes. With the SmartSuite app in Make, you can manage the records in your SmartSuite account.
Requirements
To use the SmartSuite app in Make, you must have a paid SmartSuite account. For subscription information, refer to the SmartSuite pricing page.
Connect SmartSuite and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between SmartSuite and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your API key in SmartSuite
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain an API key in your SmartSuite account.
To obtain the API key:
Log in to your SmartSuite account.
In the upper right corner, click your Profile icon > My Profile.
In the API Key section, click + Generate New Key.
Copy the Your API token value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the API Token connection field in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your SmartSuite API key, you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a SmartSuite module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the Workspace ID field, enter the unique ID of your workspace.
For example, if your URL looks like this:
https://app.smartsuite.com/workspace/home
enter: workspace.
In the API Token field, enter the API key you copied from your SmartSuite account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the SmartSuite app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
