Placid

Placid is an automation platform that helps generate on-brand images, videos, and PDFs automatically at scale from dynamic design templates.
With the Placid app in Make, you can manage videos, images, and PDF files in your Placid account.
Requirements
To use the Placid app in Make, you must have a paid Placid account. You can also start with a free trial. For subscription information, refer to the Placid pricing page.
Connect Placid and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between Placid and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your Private Token in Placid
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain a Private Token in your Placid account.
To obtain the Private Token:
Log in to your Placid account.
In the left sidebar, click API Tokens.
Copy the Private Token value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the API Token connection field in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your Placid Private Token, you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a Placid module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the API Token field, enter the Private Token you copied from your Placid account.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Placid app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
Set up a Placid webhook
The Placid app has instant modules—webhooks that watch for certain changes in Placid and immediately start your scenario when those changes happen. To use these modules, you must set up the webhook in your Placid account.
To set up the webhook:
Add a Placid instant module to your scenario and click Create a webhook.
Optional: Enter a name for the webhook in the Webhook name field.
In the Connection field, select a connection for the webhook.
If you haven't created a Placid connection yet, refer to the Connect Placid and Make section above.
Click Save.
You don't have to set up this webhook in your Placid account, as it is attached automatically and requires no additional actions. When the event occurs in Placid, Make will immediately be notified and start your scenario.
