With Placetel modules in Make, you can manage the calls, faxes, contacts, and search for SIP users in your Placetel account.

To use the Placetel modules, you must have a paid Placetel account. You can create an account at [placetel.de](https://www.placetel.de/). For subscription information, refer to the [Placetel Pricing page](https://www.placetel.de/tarifuebersicht).

## Connect Placetel to Make

To establish the connection, you must:

1. [Obtain your API key in Placetel.](docId:_R_Lavzm6ROkWSrzYQuhe)
2. [Establish the connection in Make.](docId:_R_Lavzm6ROkWSrzYQuhe) 

### Obtain your API key in Placetel

To obtain your API key from your Placetel account:

1. Log in to your Placetel account.
2. Go to **Integrations > Web API** tab.
3. Copy the **API key** value shown and store it in a safe place.

You will use this value in the **API Key** field in Make.

### Establish the connection with Placetel in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

1. Log in to your Make account, add a Placetel module to your scenario, and click **Create a connection**.

   Note: If you add a module with an `instant` tag, click **Create a webhook**, then **Save**.
2. Optional: In the **Connection name** field, enter a name for the connection.
3. In the **API Key** field, enter the API key copied above.
4. Click **Save**.
5. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
