With Insightly CRM modules in Make, you can monitor, create, and retrieve objects.

To use the Insightly CRM modules, you must have an Insightly CRM account. You can create an account at [insightly.com](https://www.insightly.com/).

## Connect Insightly CRM to Make

To establish the connection, you must:

1. [Obtain your API key in Insightly CRM.](docId\:p9Iy68L_4Y-np_IowpMcF)
2. [Establish the connection in Make.](docId\:p9Iy68L_4Y-np_IowpMcF)

### Obtain your API key in Insightly CRM

To obtain your API key from your Insightly CRM account:

1. Log in to your Insightly CRM account.
2. Click the **profile icon** in the top right corner.
3. Click **User Settings**.
4. In the **API** section, copy the **Your API key** value shown and store it in a safe place.

You will use this value in the **API Key** field in Make.

### Establish the connection with Insightly CRM in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

1. Log in to your Make account, add a Insightly CRM module to your scenario, and click **Create a connection**.
2. Optional: In the **Connection name** field, enter a name for the connection.
3. In the **API Key** field, enter the API key copied above.
4. Click **Save**.
5. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
