HERO Software für Handwerker is a specialized cloud-based software and mobile app designed to digitalize and manage the entire workflow for tradesmen, from quoting to invoicing and scheduling. With the HERO Software für Handwerker app in Make, you can manage the projects, contacts, logbook entries, and tasks in your HERO Software für Handwerker account.

# Requirements

To use the Hero Software für Handwerker app in Make, you must have a paid [Hero Software für Handwerker account](https://hero-software.de/signup/kein-account). For subscription information, refer to the [Hero Software für Handwerker pricing page](https://hero-software.de/preise). 

# Connect Hero Software für Handwerker and Make 

To get started, you must first create a connection between Hero Software für Handwerker and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.

To create the connection, you need to:

## Obtain your API key in Hero Software für Handwerker

Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain an API key in your Hero Software für Handwerker account.

To obtain the API key:

Log in to your Hero Software für Handwerker account.

On the header bar, click the help icon.

Click** Contact Support**.

Copy the API key value and store it in a safe place.

You'll use this value in the **Token** connection field in Make.

## Create the connection in Make

Once you have your Hero Software für Handwerker API key, you're ready to create the connection in Make.

To create the connection:

Log in to your Make account, add a Hero Software für Handwerker module to your scenario, and click **Create a connection**.

Optional: In the ​​**Connection name​​** field, enter a name for the connection.

In the ​​**Token** field, enter the API key you received from your Hero Software für Handwerker account.

If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
