After connecting to the Gmail app, you can use the following modules to build your scenarios.
# Triggers

## Watch emails
Triggers when a new email is received in your mailbox.
| **Field** | **Description** |
| ---------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| **Filter type** | Select **Simple filter** to filter emails by selecting criteria, or **Gmail filter** to filter emails by entering the query. |
| **Folder** | Select the email folder you want to watch. |
| **Label** | Select the label you want to watch. |
| **Criteria** | Select the criteria of the emails you want to watch:
- All emails
- Only read emails
- Only unread emails |
| **Mark email message(s) as read when fetched** | Select whether you want to mark retrieved emails as read. |
| **Limit** | Set the maximum number of results that Make will work with during one cycle. Must be lower than or equal to 500. |
| **Sender email address** | Enter the sender email addresses that you want to filter emails by. |
| **Subject** | Enter the character string in the email subject that you want to filter emails by. |
| **Has the words** | Enter the words to watch only emails that contain them. |
| **Doesn't have** | Enter the words to watch only emails that don't contain them. |
| **Email size** | Enter the email size that you want to filter emails by. You can specify the criteria, size, and size units. |
| **Only emails with attachments/media** | Select whether to watch only emails that have attachments. |
| **Content format** | Select the level of detail returned from the email message:
- Full content
- Raw content
- Metadata content
- Minimal content

## Send an email
Sends a new email.

| **Body type** | Choose one of two options:
- **Raw HTML **for advanced, fully custom layouts.
- **Collection of contents (text, images, etc.) **for simpler layouts**.** |
| **Body contents** | Enter the email message body. You can use HTML tags. |
| **Signature content** | Add custom content to include as your email signature. You can use HTML tags. |
| **Attachments** | - **File name** - Enter the name of the file to be uploaded, including the file extension. For example, `invoice.xml`.
- **Data** - Add binary or text data to be uploaded to a selected folder. For more information, see [Working with files](docId\:OAUIOo6OUjV0FYGlzMRte). |
| **From** | Enter a custom sender email address.
There are two options for entering:
- a custom name in quotes before a custom sender email address: `"John Bush" test@email.com`
- an email address that you're already connected with: `test@mail.com` |
| **CC recipients** | Enter the email addresses of any copy recipients. |
| **BCC recipients** | Enter the email addresses of any blind copy recipients. |
| **Additional email headers** | Add custom headers to the email. |

## Reply to an email
Replies to the specified email.

| **Thread ID** | Enter a message thread ID to reply to. You can use the **ID finder** to search for and select the correct ID. |
| **Reply mode** | Select which recipients to include in the reply email:
- Reply to all (original sender, CCs, and known BCCs)
- Reply to sender only
- Reply to specific recipients |
| **From ** | Enter a custom sender email address.
There are two options for entering:
- a custom name in quotes before a custom sender email address: `"John Bush" test@email.com`
- an email address that you're already connected with: `test@mail.com` |
| **Additional email headers ** | Add custom headers to the email. |
| **Body type** | Choose one of two options:
- **Raw HTML **for advanced, fully custom layouts.

## Search emails
Searches emails.
| **Field** | **Description** |
| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| **Filter type** | Select **Simple filter** to filter emails by selecting criteria, or **Gmail filter** to filter emails by entering the query. |
| **Folder** | Select the email folder where you want to search. |
| **Label** | Select the label to search by. |
| **Criteria** | Select the criteria of the emails you want to search:
- All emails
- Only read emails
- Only unread emails |

| **Content format** | Select the level of detail returned from the email message:
- Full content

| **Include HTML body** | Select whether to include the raw HTML body alongside the full text body. |

## Get an email
Gets a specific email info.

## Copy an email
Copies an email or a draft into a selected folder.

## Move an email
Moves the chosen email or a draft to the selected folder.

## Mark an email as read
Marks an email or a draft as read by setting the "Read" flag.

## Mark an email as unread
Marks an email or a draft as unread by setting the "Unread" flag.

## Create a draft email
Creates a new draft email.

If not provided, the email will be sent from the default account set in your Gmail settings. |
| **To** | Enter a recipient email address. |

Makes an API call.

| **Method** | Select the method for your API call:
- **GET** to retrieve information for an entry.
- **POST** to create a new entry.
- **PUT** to update/replace an existing entry.
- **PATCH** to make a partial entry update.
- **DELETE** to delete an entry. |
| **Headers** | Enter the desired request headers. You don't have to add authorization headers; we added those for you. |
| **Query String** | Enter the request query string. |
| **Body** | Enter the body content for your API call. |
