ClickFunnels Classic
With ClickFunnels Classic modules in , you can monitor the new contacts and purchases in your ClickFunnels Classic account.
To use the ClickFunnels Classic modules, you must have a ClickFunnels Classic account. You can create an account at app.clickfunnels.com.
Refer to the ClickFunnels Classic API documentation for a list of available endpoints.
To establish the connection, you must:
Log in to your account, add a ClickFunnels Classic module to your and click Create a connection.
In the Page URL field, enter the full URL of the ClickFunnels Classic page you want to associate the contact submission, for example: https://yourdomain.clickfunnels.com/webinar-replay-room12345.
In the Name and Email fields, enter the name and email information of the new contact entry.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your add more ClickFunnels Classic modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.
This app uses webhooks to trigger a when an event occurs instantly. All webhook modules have an instant tag next to their name.
To set up a webhook, follow these steps:
Add an ClickFunnels Classic instant module to your and click Create a webhook.
Optional: Enter a name for the webhook in the Webhook name field.
Click Save > Copy address to clipboard.
Log in to your ClickFunnels Classic account.
Open the Settings in the funnel that you want to process data from.
Click the Manage Your Funnel Webhooks button at the bottom of the Settings page.
Click the New Webhook.
In the URL field, paste the webhook URL you copied in Step 3.
In the Event field, select the event you want to watch.
If you select more events, for example, "purchase created" and "purchase updated" your webhook module (in ) will be triggered twice after any new purchase.
Click Create Funnel Webhook.
ClickFunnels Classic will now send data to through the webhook when the selected event occurs.
ClickFunnels Classic sends webhooks from each page. Even though it's only transferred to the next step, the action on the button says Submit Form. ClickFunnels Classic submits the form again, even though the event calls for creating a contact.
The solution for this is to put a filter to filter by page ID (placing the filter after the ClickFunnels' webhook module in ) you can notice that duplicated webhooks come from another page with different ID.
