With the Checkr app in , you can create candidates and background check invitations, watch for events, and retrieve and/or search for candidates, invitations, nodes, packages, and reports.

Requirements

To use the Checkr app in , you must have a verified Checkr account. For more information, refer to the Welcome to Checkr guide. You can connect to both Checkr staging accounts and production accounts.

Connect Checkr and Make

To get started, you must first create a connection between Checkr and , allowing the two services to communicate.

To create the connection, you need to:

  1. Log in to your Make account, add a Checkr module to your Make, and click Create a connection.
    Note: If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
  2. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
  3. Select whether or not to connect to the Sandbox environment.
  4. Optional: Click Show advanced settings and enter your client credentials. Refer to the Partnering with Checkr guide for more information. When creating a custom app, use the following Redirect URI: https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/checkr.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If prompted, log in to your customer account, select the customer account to connect to, and confirm access.
    Note: If you receive Error: Account can't connect to itself, Account can't connect a partner to another partner account when connecting using client credentials, go to your Checkr Partner dashboard, ensure that you are logged out, and try to establish the connection again.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your Make and add more Checkr modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.
