Bird
With the Bird app in Make, you can manage the contacts, lists, and SMS in your Bird account.
Requirements
To use the Bird app in Make, you must have a paid Bird account. For subscription information, refer to the Bird pricing page.
Connect Bird and Make
To get started, you must first create a connection between Bird and Make, allowing the two services to communicate.
To create the connection, you need to:
Obtain your API key in Bird
Before you create the connection in Make, you should first obtain an API key in your Bird account.
To obtain the API key:
Log in to your Bird account.
Go to your Organization Settings.
Click Access Roles > Add new access key
Enter a key name and key description.
In the Role field, select the access role that the new access key should be associated with.
Click Create access key button.
Copy the Access Key value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the API Key connection field in Make.
Obtain your Workspace ID in Bird
To obtain the Workspace ID:
In the upper left corner, click your organization's logo > Organization settings.
Click Workspaces.
Locate the workspace you want to find the ID of, click three dots > Edit workspace.
Copy the Workspace ID value and store it in a safe place.
You'll use this value in the Workspace ID connection field in Make.
Create the connection in Make
Once you have your Bird API key and Workspace ID, you're ready to create the connection in Make.
To create the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a Bird module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the API Key field, enter the access key you copied from your Bird account.
In the Workspace ID field, enter the workspace ID copied from your Bird organization.
Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You've successfully created the connection and can now use the Bird app in your scenarios. If you want to make changes to your connection in the future, follow the steps here.
