With the Basecamp 3 modules in Make, you can manage the comments, files, groups, templates, people, projects, messages, to-dos, to-do lists, and schedule entries in your Basecamp 3 account.

## Requirements

To use the Basecamp 3 modules, you must have a Basecamp 3 account. You can create an account at [https://basecamp.com/signup](https://basecamp.com/signup).

## Connect Basecamp 3 to Make

To establish the connection in Make:

1. Log in to your Make account, add a Basecamp 3 module to your scenario, and click **Create a connection**.
2. Note: If you add a module with an `instant` tag, click **Create a webhook**, then **Create a connection**.
3. Optional: In the **Connection name** field, enter a name for the connection.
4. Optional: Click **Show advanced settings** and enter your custom app client credentials. For more information, refer to the [Basecamp 3 Integration page](https://launchpad.37signals.com/integrations).
5. If requested, use the following Redirect URI when creating your custom app: `https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/basecamp3`.
6. Click **Save**.
7. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
